Details
An ornate old-fashioned key with a ribbon bow, confetti caught mid-fall, and 21 stamped above it like a fairground sticker, thick outline, drop shadow and all.
Underneath, hand-lettered: key to the door. The line comes from the old British 21st tradition, the key of the door marking the day you're officially allowed to come home whenever you like. Genuine bit of folk history, not something we made up for the mug.
Part of the Big Birthdays set, so it lines up nicely with the rest of the milestone mugs if you're collecting the series.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
