Details
Two small gold rings entwined above a gothic flourish, and underneath, the line every Jane Eyre reader knows by heart: Reader, I married him. Set on a candlelit dark panel with moorland swirls at the edge.
Charlotte Bronte wrote it in 1847 and it is still the best closing line in the language. Free to use, free to put on a mug, and exactly right for someone walking down an aisle or celebrating another year of doing so.
Part of our Bronte series, so it sits well with the rest of the set on the same dresser or shelf.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
