Mid-century advertising style, redrawn: a fifties illustration with the sparkle and a line it would never have printed, in black and red. Retro sass on a mug.
A man in a dressing gown, hair flat on one side, squinting at the world. He has one line for it: "Grumpy? Me? I'm just awake."
Drawn in mid-century ink and halftone, one deep red against black, wrapping right around the mug so the whole scene turns with your hand. No panel, no background, just the character and the caption where the mug's own glaze does the work.
