Details
The line has been going around since 1859, when FitzGerald first put the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam into English. It has outlasted better poems. Here it sits inside an ornate Persian-style arch, arabesque curling into the corners, with the jug, the loaf and a single rose lined up beneath the words.
For anniversaries, for the reader in the house, or for anyone who has ever needed only three things.
Part of the Rubaiyat set: same arch, same border, different lines, so it pairs neatly with the rest on the shelf.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
