Details
A small sundial, a short shadow, and three words carved into marble: CONFINE YOURSELF TO THE PRESENT. Set on a carved-tablet panel with a bronze laurel accent.
The line comes from Marcus Aurelius' Meditations, written to himself and never meant for an audience, which is probably why it still lands.
Part of the Stoics series, so it sits well alongside the rest of the set on the same shelf.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
