Details
An hourglass wrapped in a sprig of thistle, and the line beneath it that Robert Burns gave to Tam o' Shanter: Nae man can tether time or tide.
It's from one of his best-known poems, written some two hundred years ago and still true on a Monday morning. Framed in thistles, with a plain crosshatch band beneath, same as the rest of the set.
Part of our Burns collection, so it sits well alongside the other mugs in the series.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
