Details
"Moderation is a fatal thing. Nothing succeeds like excess." Oscar Wilde wrote it in A Woman of No Importance, and it has aged rather better than most advice from the 1890s.
Below the quote, a small tower of teacups leans, one cup away from disaster. The whole design sits inside sweeping art nouveau curves with a peacock feather flourish, part of a matching set of Wilde mugs done in the same style.
For anyone who takes their tea, and most other things, to excess.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
