Details
A small gold coin, tied up with a bow, sits inside a Victorian frame wreathed in holly and lit with a warm candle glow. Above it, the line: "Another idol has displaced me. A golden one."
It's Belle's line to Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, word for word, public domain and about as cheerful as Dickens ever got about money and marriage.
Part of the Dickens Christmas set, so it sits nicely on the shelf next to the rest of the collection.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
