A raised goblet, wreathed in vines, and the line underneath it: Drink! for you know not whence you came, nor why. Straight from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, public domain and still better than most fridge magnets.
Set inside a Persian arch with arabesque corners, matching the rest of the series. It reads as well over black coffee at 7am as it ever did over wine in eleventh-century Nishapur.
Part of the Rubaiyat mug collection, so it sits happily next to the others on the same shelf.
