"Thank God for tea! What would the world do without tea?" arches over a cheerful teapot scene, steam curling up while a small globe balances on a teacup below. Printed in colour on glossy white ceramic, on both sides.
The line comes from a nineteenth-century verse, the sort of quiet declaration a devoted tea drinker has been making for two hundred years and shows no sign of stopping now.
