Details
A small flame holds steady on a marble ledge, beside the words carved tablet-style: YOU HAVE POWER OVER YOUR MIND, NOT OUTSIDE EVENTS. A bronze laurel sits alongside, quiet and permanent.
The line is Marcus Aurelius, from his own private notebook, written for himself long before anyone else read it.
Part of the Stoics desk collection, so it sits well alongside the rest of the set.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
