Details
A 1950s studio portrait, black and white, silver-gelatin grain and all, with a caption typed beneath it like a line pasted into a family album. Vintage fifties manners, present-day rudeness.
A studio portrait straight out of someone's nan's photo album: soft vignette, silver-gelatin grain, the sitter done up in pearls or brilliantine for a photo nobody asked for. Beside them, pasted in like a caption clipped for the family album: BLESS. YOU TRIED.
Wraps right round the mug, portrait on one side of the handle, caption on the other, so it reads whichever way you're holding your tea.
For anyone who gave it a proper go and it still went sideways. Exams, DIY, relationships, Tuesday.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
