Details
Pop-art comic style: bold linework, flat colour and Ben-Day dots, with the line in a speech bubble. A retro comic-book mug that says the quiet part out loud.
A wide-eyed woman clutches her mug in a bold comic-book panel, the whole scene rendered in flat primaries and Ben-Day dots like a 1960s strip. Her speech bubble says exactly what the caption says: Christmas is coming. So is my mother-in-law.
The line wraps right round the mug in one continuous band, no seams, no repeats, just the panel and the bubble following the curve.
For anyone already rehearsing their face for the front door.

The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
