A wine glass and a coffee cup crossed like swords, set inside a mock heraldic banner. Above: IN VINO VERITAS, IN CAFFEA PRODUCTIVITAS. Below, smaller: in wine, truth. in coffee, productivity.
The first half is a genuine Roman proverb, old enough to have outlasted the empire that coined it. The second half is a more recent addition, for anyone whose actual truth serum is a second espresso.
Part of the Latin Mottoes (Loosely Translated) series, so it sits happily alongside the rest of the set on a shelf, for anyone building the full coat of arms.
