Details
A chain link, unbroken, resting on marble. Carved into the stone beneath it: NO MAN IS FREE WHO IS NOT MASTER OF HIMSELF.
This is the January mug in the Stoics series, so it pairs with the rest of the set if you're collecting them or gifting the whole run one month at a time.
The line comes from Epictetus, who knew a thing or two about the difference between freedom and circumstance before most people had thought to write it down. Worth knowing before you hand it over with the coffee.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
