Details
A slice of cake sits on a regency plate beneath the flourish, with the line "Why not seize the pleasure at once?" framed in laurel sprigs above it. The words are Jane Austen's own, lifted straight from her novels rather than invented for a mug.
For anyone who has ever waited for the right moment and watched it go past. The cake is already cut. There is no more preparation to be done.
Part of our Austen mug set, so it sits nicely alongside the rest of the collection if you're building the full shelf.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
