Details
Straight out of the 1980s: a 35mm snapshot with the flash, the red-eye and the film grain, and a caption in the decade's own voice. A retro 80s nostalgia gift for anyone who never quite left.
An invented 1980s snapshot: shoulder pads, aviators, a Walkman, on-camera flash doing its worst to the red-eye. Beside him, in chunky rounded 80s type with a neon pink underline: "Forty? Totally radical."
No further comment needed for whoever's turning forty this year. The mug says it for you.
The scene wraps right round the mug in one continuous band, so it keeps going past the handle instead of stopping and starting.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
