Details
Pop-art comic style: bold linework, flat colour and Ben-Day dots, with the line in a speech bubble. A retro comic-book mug that says the quiet part out loud.
She's conceding, smiling, and not letting you forget it: "Mum, you were right. Don't get used to it." runs round the mug in bold comic-strip capitals, the line following the handle all the way round.
For the mum who was, in fact, right, and knows it.
