Details
A laurel wreath circles a coffee cup, and beneath it sits Horace's most famous line, given the treatment it always deserved. CARPE DIEM up top in full heraldic confidence, SEIZE THE COFFEE underneath in much smaller print, because the original poet never had to face a 7am inbox.
Part of our Latin Mottoes (Loosely Translated) series, so it lines up nicely on the shelf with the rest of the set if you're building a collection or buying for someone who already has one.
Good for anyone who studied Classics, married someone who did, or just likes their ancient wisdom served with milk and one sugar.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
