Details

The question arches over a small teapot, steam curling up in polite little commas, a laurel wreath wrapped round the teacup like it's been awarded a classics degree.

The line is Hilaire Belloc's, asked in earnest a century ago and now safely in the public domain, which feels about right for a mug that takes tea this seriously.

Part of the Tea Verse set, so it sits happily next to the rest of the Latin lane on the shelf.

Size and capacity

11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.

Care

Dishwasher and microwave safe.

The print

Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
