A little coin purse tips over a vine scroll, two coins escaping, while the line above it settles the whole argument about money: Take the Cash, and let the Credit go. Straight out of the Rubaiyat, 1859, and somehow still the only financial advice anyone needs.
The verse sits inside an ornate Persian-style arch, arabesque corners and all, matching the rest of the collection it comes from.
Good for the relative who has opinions about interest rates, or anyone who has ever chosen the bird in hand.
