Details
Pop-art comic style: bold linework, flat colour and Ben-Day dots, with the line in a speech bubble. A retro comic-book mug that says the quiet part out loud.
Every parent has heard the negotiation start the second the lights go out. This one puts it in writing: a pint-sized figure in pyjamas, arms folded, refusing to budge, with the line delivered in bold comic-book capitals inside a speech bubble.
Drawn in a 1960s pop-art style, flat primary colours and halftone dots, the whole thing wraps right round the mug so the joke reads no matter which way it's turned.
