Details
A small winged hourglass sits inside a vine roundel, the line curling round it in an ornate Persian-style arch: One thing is certain, that Life flies.
The words are FitzGerald's, lifted straight from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. Eight hundred years of somebody else already having said it better than you could at a birthday dinner.
Part of the Rubaiyat set, so it sits happily on the shelf next to the others in the same arabesque border if you're building the full collection.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
