A 1950s studio portrait, black and white, silver-gelatin grain and all, with a caption typed beneath it like a line pasted into a family album. Vintage fifties manners, present-day rudeness.
A studio portrait straight out of somebody's nan's album, pearls, fur collar, the works, sat beside four words that could mean absolutely anything: "How lovely. For you."
