Details
Holmes called Watson his Boswell, borrowing the name from James Boswell, the man who spent his life writing down everything Samuel Johnson said. It's an old, real bit of literary history, and a fairly accurate description of most best friendships.
Two small teacups sit side by side on a foggy, gaslit London backdrop, a magnifying glass tucked into the corner. The caption reads I am lost without my Boswell, printed on both sides so it reads whichever way the mug is held.
Part of a matching set of Baker Street mugs, so the pair of you can each take one.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
