Mid-century advertising style, redrawn: a fifties illustration with the sparkle and a line it would never have printed, in black and red. Retro sass on a mug.
Somewhere between a small sherry and a swimming pool, this one lands on the side of the swimming pool. A besuited man clutches what can only be described as a fishbowl of red wine, and the mug says exactly what he's thinking.
Drawn in proper 1950s advertising style: ink linework, halftone shading, a scattering of stars for good measure. The whole thing wraps right around the mug, so the joke's there no matter which way it's turned.
