My boss told me to have a good day. So I went home.

Mid-century advertising style, redrawn: a fifties illustration with the sparkle and a line it would never have printed, in black and red. Retro sass on a mug.

A man in a hat strolls out of the office door, whistling, hands in his pockets, not looking back. The line wraps round after him: "My boss told me to have a good day. So I went home."

Drawn in mid-century advertising style, ink linework and halftone shading with a single deep red spot colour, a script headline and bold condensed capitals, a scatter of star sparkles trailing the exit. The scene runs right round the mug as one continuous band.
