Details
A 1950s studio portrait, black and white, silver-gelatin grain and all, with a caption typed beneath it like a line pasted into a family album. Vintage fifties manners, present-day rudeness.
A found-looking studio portrait, silver-gelatin grain and all, captioned like someone pasted it into a family album: ONE DOES NOT DO MONDAYS.
Nobody asked this person's opinion on the working week. They gave it anyway. The caption wraps round to the handle, portrait held on the other side, like it's been there since 1955.
For anyone who has ever stared at a Monday and simply declined.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
