Details
A small teapot in spectacles, looking every bit as wise as the line arched above it. The quote is genuine, penned by Colley Cibber in the early 1700s in praise of tea, and it has lost none of its conviction since.
Steam curls up around the teapot on glossy white ceramic, printed on both sides so the toast to tea reads however the mug is held.
Part of the Tea Verse set, so it sits happily alongside the rest of the collection on the same shelf.
Size and capacity
11oz (325 ml) ceramic, glossy finish.
Care
Dishwasher and microwave safe.
The print
Printed on both sides. The design is fused into the glaze, not printed on top of it.
